Paypal accounts for half of digital wallet complaints over last 4 years

In the last four years, customers have sent in 9,300 complaints regarding mobile or digital wallets to the US Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Of those complaints, Paypal accounted for almost 4,500 in total, according to a press release from Psychic Ventures Ltd.
Most of the complaints were in regards to managing, opening or closing a mobile wallet account. Square ranked second with 1,200 complaints mostly in regards to unauthorized transactions and Coinbase came in third with a total of 755 complaints.
